Mr. Christopher Lavon Owens, of Carthage, MS, formerly of Laurel, MS passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at his residence.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Oak Bowery Baptist Church, Heidelberg, MS on Saturday, July 5, 2025, and Funeral Services will be held immediately following at 1:00 p.m.  The burial will be at Oak Bowery Baptist Church Cemetery, Heidelberg, MS.  Gilmore's Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of the arrangements.
